Caron Wolfenden
I live in the beautiful rural setting of Devon having relocated from London in 2010. I have over 20 years experience of interpreting in a wide range of domains with special interest in mental health, social service settings and working with Deaf professionals. Over the years I have worked for agencies and as a freelance interpreter and have also trained, assessed and presented on interpreting. Many years ago I trained as an ASLI mentor and my work choices have led me through various management positions supervising staff teams. In 2017 I completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Supervision at the Iron Mill in Exeter (affiliated with the University of Worcester) and this has led me towards a more reflective and integrative model of supervision. I believe supervision is crucial to our profession and allows us to maintain a healthy sense of wellbeing within our everyday work. The space I offer is safe, reflective, sometimes challenging, creative and always rewarding. I can offer face-to-face or online supervision for individuals or groups. |
